Tagged

The rules are as follows: List 3 Joys, 3 Fears, 3 Goals, 3 Current Obsessions, and 3 Random Surprising Facts About Yourself.Tag 3 people at the end of your post by leaving their names.

Just a note, Sometimes I feel weird that I am a guy and I am blogging. No I am not gay I just have a lot of time on my hands at work and they just took work away from me. Sarah thinks that I am crazy for blogging and she refuses to do it but I think that it is pretty fun.

Here goes

Joys:
1. My boys, I love coming come and having Evan run up to me and give me a big hug and then say "Play toys daddy Play toys." He always repeats himself. It is so cute.

2. My Wife, I know that I am not the easiest person to live with. She puts up with me great!

3. My scooter. I know that is a weird one but it is a blast. It is nice to ride home from work on the back roads and relax. I think it puts me in a better mood for when I get home.

Fears:

1. Terrorists. I have nightmares that terrorists come and kill me. They are pretty freaky dreams

2. Not being able to take care of my family. I doubt that this will ever happen but I would die if I could not provide for my family.

3. My boys growing up. I look at the youth that I work with and some of them are just jerks to their parents. I hope and pray my boys never get like that.

Goals:
1. Be my own business owner. I am sure that all of you know that about everyother week I have a new business idea. I am working on one that is pretty good. Once I get a bit further with it I will, I am sure post about it. This is the big one and for once Sarah thinks that it is a good idea too and she keeps pushing me on it.

2. Have my mortgage paid off by 40. I have come to the realization that once that happens I am financially independant.

3. Loose 25 LBS by Oct 31st (check up on me with that one)

Current obsessions:

1. Blog stalking I like to see who I can find that I know or once knew

2. Once again I promise I am not gay I have 2 kids and am happily married but I love the TV channel HGTV.

3. The office. Wow I need a life

Randon facts about me:
1. I talk to myself multiple times a day

2. I do not like Bananas, pickles, mustard, hotdogs, and I really dont like a lot of chocolate.

3. My wife called off our wedding 3 different times in 3 months time frame. She is going to kill me for putting that in the blog but oh well. It is quite the long story most people who know us know the story.

I tag Brian (not Mal, make brian post a blog), Chris O. (not Caelee), and Derek(not cindy). That way I am not the only man posting

Pics

Evan loves my scooter. Everyday I get home from work he says "go ride daddy motorcycle" He then runs outside and gets on. I have taken him for a few rides I have him stand on my foot rest and lock him in with my knees. He loves my helmet too!!

The other day I was walking past Evans room and I saw this:

Gotta love it!

A good talk

A couple of weeks ago my bishop in our welfare meeting gave us a copy of this talk and we talked about it. It sure is a good one. It is called the The Great Measure of Discipleship. It gives a pretty cool thought and out look on how we should not just treat others but how we view others. I have shared it with quite a few people and I thought may as well. It is kind of long so I suggest to print it and then read it. It is about 10 pages.

Trip to Blanding

Last week I took the priests/teachers to Blanding for our summer camp. I am the young mens president in our ward and have been for the last 4 and a half years. This was my 5th summer camp that I have planned and carried out so I decided to go easy. We went to blanding to see the indian ruins that are down there and just hang out. We stayed in cabins ate steak and pork chops, golfed, swam, cliff jumped and just had a blast. My brother Brian lives down there so he was a tour guide for everything that we did. It was nice to have a trip that was not a lot involved. The boys had a good time too. Of course the thing that they liked the most, was the baseball games that we played. We went to Blanding to play baseball. Oh well it was fun. The boys were good and Brian showed us some great stuff. Todd also came to help out with crowd control and it was a great excuse to have a free vacation paid for by the scouts.

The scooter

Well with gas prices at almost $4.00 a gallon I decided that I would save some money on gas and buy a scooter. Yes I know I am a geek but it is actually pretty fun. It tops out at about 50 with me and I figure if I were to drop a few pounds I am sure that it would go faster than that. It gets (they tell me) 80 MPG. Once again if I were to drop a few pounds it could go up from there.

The pictures below are from monday the second this pic was last night. Evan was so excited to help me "mow lawn". I was about half way done and I realized that he had been pretty quiet. I looked over my shoulder and saw his face looking at me sound asleep. It was pretty cute.

Got a winner

Well I think that I have a winner. Everytime that I mow the lawn Evans wants to help. He is afraid of the noise so he always wanted me to pick him up. Well I got a great idea and he loves it!!!

By age 4 he should be doing it by himself!
